Richard Wayne “Rick” Eubank, 63, passed away Nov. 23, 2021, at his home after a brave battle with Covid-19 and other health problems. He was the youngest child, born on Feb. 23, 1958, in Great Bend, to Roy and Selma (Gorlitz) Eubank.
A lifetime Great Bend resident, Rick was a carpenter for Marlette Homes and had a paper route for the Great Bend Tribune. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. He loved carpentry and woodworking. Rick also enjoyed fishing, working on things with his hands, taking his beloved pitbull, Nora, for rides in his truck, and riding his motorcycle to “cut loose.” Most of all, Rick loved his family; he always was willing to help with what he could at any time.
Survivors include two sisters, Rita Schroeder and husband Ron of Heizer, and Linda Jacobs and husband Gary of Great Bend; his brother, Roy Eubank, Jr. and wife Judy of Wichita; and many nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Cynthia Wilson; a nephew, Steven Crone; and a niece, Elizabeth Ledesma. He was a good brother and will be missed.
The register book will be available to sign Thursday, May 5, and Friday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home.
