TUCSON, Ariz. — Robert G. Keeler, 63, passed peacefully on March 4, 2014, feeling the love of his family and friends.
Bob was born on March 31, 1950, and spent his youth in Seward and Claflin, graduating from Claflin High School in 1968. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1972, where he earned his degree in electrical engineering.
He brought his intellect and engineering talents to the audio business, Butler Buildings, Hughes Aircraft, and Hewlett Packard. In 2001, he and his wife founded Springs Gymnastics. He had many passions and talents including designing electronic components and building sound systems, restoring old cars, making beautiful furniture, golfing and various other sports. He will be remembered and missed most as a loving husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, uncle and friend to many.
Bob is survived by his wife, Barbara, and daughter, Brittany, Tucson, Ariz.; father and mother, Claude, Jr. and Ann; brother, Raymond (Colette), Great Bend; and his sister, Susan, Chandler, Ariz.
His life will be celebrated at a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15 at St. Andrews Presbyterian, Northeast Chapel, Tucson, Ariz. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Cancer Society.
