Robert Eugene Haberman, 70, died Dec. 18, 2016, at Great Bend Regional Hospital. Born July 23, 1946, at Great Bend, he was the son of Joseph L. and Mary T. (Koester) Haberman. He was a long time Great Bend resident. He was a client of Sunflower Diversified Services.
Mr. Haberman was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend.
Survivors include his mother, Mary T. Haberman of Great Bend; two brothers, Bill Haberman of Houston, Texas, and Joseph Haberman of Great Bend; several nieces and nephews, including Shelly Arnberger and Wendy Lockwood, both of Great Bend; and caretaker, Lisa Sterba and the rest of the Sunflower staff. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Haberman; one brother, Bernard Haberman; and two sisters, Virginia Peters and Delores Ryan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend with Father Don Bedore celebrating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Great Bend. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials have been established with Sunflower Diversified Services, in care of the funeral home.
