HOISINGTON — Robert K. Hoch, 69, died Oct. 16, 2016, at Great Bend Regional Hospital.
He was born Nov. 29, 1946, in Hoisington, the son of O.C. “Poss” and Esther (Keenan) Hoch. Robert graduated from Hoisington High School in 1964. He was a Vietnam veteran serving with the United States Navy.
A lifetime resident of Hoisington, he worked as a night watchman for Great Bend Feeding. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion, and was of the Catholic faith. On Dec. 29, 2012, he married Crystal F. Crawford, she survives.
Other survivors include; a son, Bo Hoch and wife Sandy, Norfolk, Va.; two brothers, Don Richard “Dick” Hoch and wife Sharon, Pomona; and Pat Hoch, Great Bend; and his mother-in-law, Helen Baker, Kansas City, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jon Hoch, and a sister, Connie Hoopingarner.
A gathering of friends and family will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the South Tap Room, Hoisington. Cremation has taken place.
