LARNED — Roberta (Opie) Bartlett, 85, passed away April 7, 2026, at Country Living of Larned, Kan. She was born May 22, 1940, in Great Bend, to Ralph and Ruth (Essmiller) Opie.

Roberta was a homemaker and spent many years living overseas before returning to her hometown of Great Bend, which she was proud to call home. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Roberta had a deep love for sports and was a devoted fan of her alma mater, Kansas State University, always cheering the Cats on with Purple Pride.

Survivors include her nieces, Paige Vande Giessen of Vicksburg, Mich., and Holly Tuma of Birnamwood, Wisc. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Todd Kintigh, Eric Kintigh; and sister, Rae Jean Hunt.

A private family graveside will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made out to First United Methodist Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed atwww.bryantfh.net.
