ELLINWOOD — Robin Lee Armstrong, 57, died July 11, 2017, in Barton County, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born March 14, 1960, at Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Betty Gillenwater. She married Steven Armstrong July 1, 2000, at Des Moines, Iowa. An Ellinwood resident since 2013, coming from Des Moines, Iowa, she was a caretaker and driver for Sunflower Diversified Services, Inc.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Armstrong, of the home; one son, Chad Wade and his wife Brandy of Des Moines, Iowa; one daughter, Christina Wade of Ellinwood; four brothers, David Davis of Florida, Darrell Davis of La Vista, Neb., Rocky Gillenwater of Omaha, Neb., and Randy Gillenwater of Council Bluffs, Iowa; one sister, Donna Tripplet of Omaha, Neb.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, July 14 at Bryant Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dick Ogle. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to Robin Armstrong Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
