ELLINWOOD - Roch Alan Miller, 66, passed away at his home August 1, 2021, surrounded by much of his family in his final days. Roch was born in Great Bend to Cy and Fran (Muth) Miller and lived most of his life in Barton county.
Roch was a United States Marine, lifetime oilfield worker and lake enthusiast all his life. He was loved by his family and friends for who he felt the same and gave his all to make sure they all knew he would help them in any way possible. His faith was solid in Christ and he looked forward to seeing his son, Rochy in heaven along with so many others.
Roch is survived by his loving wife, Cori of Ellinwood; a daughter, Tammy Dean of Galveston, TX; a brother, Don (Wendy) Miller of Hutchinson; a sister, Monica (Barry) Bowers of Great Bend; a daughter in law, Renee Miller of Great Bend; his grandchildren, Kaleb, Aerieana, Elijah, Brynn, Daegan and Cambrie; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Roch Miller II; and his brothers, Tim Miller and Mick Miller.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Bryant Funeral Home. A Celebration of Roch’s Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Wilson Lake Tatanka Lodge-The Church, with Military Rites conducted by the United States Marine. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to Wilson Lake Area Association, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
