STAFFORD — Ruby Katherine Holloway Potter, 101, died Sept. 13 at Leisure Homestead, Stafford. She was born July 6, 1909, in Wichita, the daughter of Schyler and Cora Belle Rogers Lutz, and was employed in the Sedgwick County Clerk’s Office. She retired to Winter Haven, Fla., and moved to Stafford in 2007.
She is survived by her son, Gene Holloway, and his wife Mary of Stafford; grandson Jay Holloway and his wife Dawn of Great Bend; great-granddaughter Montana Paige; stepgranddaughter Debra Jo Ackley of Wichita and stepgreat-grandson Jonathan Cain Amos of Great Bend; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Lou, and a stepgrandson, Ronnie Ackley. Katherine was cremated and her ashes will be buried at Winter Haven, Fla.
