Ruby Lucille Blaz 1942 - 2012

HOISINGTON — Ruby Lucille Blaz, 70, died Dec. 8 at Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington. Born Oct. 27, 1942 in Guymon, Okla., she was the daughter of Raymond and Helen (Smith) Steinkuehler. Ruby moved to Hoisington in 1986 coming from Guymon, Okla. She was brought up in the Nazarene Church and worked as a CNA for Texas County Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed reading, traveling and music. On July 2, 1984 she married Rush Blaz in Great Bend.
Survivors include her husband, Rush Blaz of Hoisington; one son, Charles Wells of Guymon, Okla.; one daughter Tammi Blehm of Guymon, Okla.; one granddaughter, Destini Blehm; and one great-grandson, Dominique Blehm. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven Wells; and a sister.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, Okla. with Pastor Wayne Dawson officiating. There will be no public visitation.
