GREAT BEND — Ryan Joseph Bealer, 21, died Sept. 20, 2011 at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center, Topeka.
He was born September 25, 1989 at Great Bend, the son of Richard T. and Ruth Anne (Schiller) Bealer.
Ryan was a lifetime Great Bend resident. He was a member of Golden Key Honor Society.  He was an honor student at Kansas State University, majoring in computer information systems.
Survivors include his parents, Rick and Ruth Bealer, Great Bend; twin brother, Zachary Bealer, Great Bend; a sister, Nicole Jacks, Colorado Springs, Colo.; an uncle and an aunt, Paul and Lynn Schiller, Great Bend; cousins, Lisa Gwin, Jenni Bauer, and Loretta Kirmer and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Joyce Schiller; and his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Helen Bealer.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Grace Community Church in Great Bend with Officiant Pastor Roy Savage. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery North.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend.
Memorial funds are established at the Golden Belt Humane Society or Golden Belt Community Foundation for the Ryan Joseph Bealer Memorial Scholarship, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
