CHILLICOTHE — Sarah Rogers Skinner, 48, of Chillicothe, passed 4:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021 in the Ohio State University’s James Cancer Center following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 13, 1973, in Springfield, Mo. to Paul and Kathryn Tiede Rogers. On May 1, 1999, she married Michael Skinner who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Quinton Skinner, of Chillicothe; mother, Kathryn (Max) King, of Great Bend, Kan.; father, Paul (Karen) Rogers, of Detroit, Mich.; a brother, Aaron (Kelly) Rogers, of Detroit, Mich.; maternal grandmother, Ersell Tiede, of Great Bend, Kan.; a step brother, Jeremy (Sarah) Bilyeu, of Detroit, Mich.; sisters-in-law, Jenny (Danny) Boggs, Sandy (Larry) Bovard and Becky (Don) Barnhart; and nieces, Stephanie, Nadia, Rachael, Lindsey, Megan and Elise; and nephews, AJ, Jacen, Tyler, Sam and Arron.
Sarah was the owner and operator of Sharpbeak Designs. She was the current President for the Ross County League of Women Voters.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 in the Ware Funeral Home with Officiant Bonnie Vallette officiating. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home one hour prior to the memorial service on Saturday.
