Sharon M. Satterfield, 65, passed away on January 21, 2020, at Great Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Great Bend. She was born on January 13, 1955, at Great Bend to Orval & Betty (Smith) Hejny. She married Charles Satterfield on May 24, 1975, at Great Bend. He survives. 

A lifetime Great Bend resident, Sharon was a rental specialist for Satterfield Rental. She was a graduate of Hoisington High School Class of 1973 and a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Albert. She loved going on the annual Christmas shopping trip with her sister but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.  

Survivors include, her husband Charles of the home; two sons, Shawn Satterfield and Shane Satterfield and lifetime partner Amy of Great Bend; a daughter, Shawna Green and husband Brandon of Augusta; three sisters, Debra Tammen and Diana Hejny of Great Bend and Rita Hejny of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and five grandchildren, Makayla, Alexis, Courtney, Brady and Liam. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her nephew/godchild, Mathew Tammen. 

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Wayne Baldyga presiding. Interment will be in the Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery, Albert. Memorials are suggested to Peace Lutheran Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
