Shawn L. Adams, 47, passed away on March 6, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Born Sept. 20, 1967, in Omaha, Neb., she was the daughter of Richard Olsen and Carol Street-Propst. She was employed at Rosewood Services as a horticulturist.  As an avid gardener, she enjoyed working in the greenhouse and volunteering her time at the local Farmers Market.
Survivors include her mother, Carol Propst of Grand Island, Neb.; two sisters Amanda Moura and husband Edward of Grand Island, Neb., and Shannon Rieger of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers Casey Parkins of Grand Island, Neb., and Anthony Bruno of Arkansas; two daughters Ashley Adams and husband David of Nickerson, Neb. and Elizabeth Parkins of Scottsbluff, Neb.; two sons Calvin Parkins of Crawford, Neb., and James Parkins of Freemont Neb.; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Rosewood Memorial Garden, 384 N. Washington in Great Bend. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
