Sherrill Ann Arnold

Sherrill Ann Arnold, 44, passed away May 31, 2020, at the University Of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus. She was born on July 16, 1975 at Great Bend, to Stephen and Debra (Bailey) Arnold. 

A lifetime Great Bend resident, Sherrill was a client of Sunflower Diversified Services. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, and the Storm Special Olympics track and basketball teams. She enjoyed spending time with family, and going on family vacations, especially Disney World. To Sherrill, family was everything. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan and she loved swimming. 

Survivors include, her parents, Stephen and Debra Arnold of Great Bend; a brother, Stephen “Michael” Arnold Jr. (Cass) of Great Bend; three sisters, Laura Harrington (Joseph), Stephanie Galusha, and Amy Arnold, all of Great Bend; grandmother, Bonnie Arnold of Great Bend; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and nephews and nieces, Alex Arnold, Adyn Haines, Ethan Harrington, Adison Galusha, Abygail Arnold Haines, and Madelyn Harrington. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth “Bud” Arnold, and Merl and Alene Bailey; and a nephew and niece, Garin and Rozlyn. 

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2020, at First Assembly of God Church in Great Bend, with Pastor Dwight Dozier presiding. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend. Memorials are suggested to the Sherrill Arnold Funeral Expense Fund or First Assembly of God Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
