Shirley Ann Harrison 1935-2012

HOISINGTON —— Shirley Ann Harrison, 76, died July 30 at Southwind Hospice Home, Pratt, Kans.  Born Aug. 20, 1935 at Pratt, Kans., she was the daughter of Frank A. and Anna (Springer) Kuhn.  Shirley was a lifetime Hoisington resident, and graduated from Hoisington High School in 1953.  She married William F. Harrison, and enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and friends.  
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Redetzke and husband Terry, Hoisington; three grandchildren, Tanna Vine and husband Dustin, Terry Redetzke and wife Sandy, Amanda Redetzke; and six great-grandchildren, Grace, Sydney and Carter Redetzke, Maleah, Westin and Myles Vine
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Clay A. Harrison; and a sister, Norma Jean Kimber.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 2, at 10:00 a.m. at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, with Father Ultan Murphy presiding. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to service time, all at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Interment will be at St. John Church Cemetery, Hoisington. Memorials may be made to Kans for Kids in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Box 146, Hoisington, KS  67544.
