BEAVER, Okla. — Shirley Faye Bobeck, 77, passed away Aug. 14, at the Beaver County Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Born on Oct. 4, 1935, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Howard and Genevie (Yahne) Kimber. On May 22, 1953, she graduated from Great Bend High School. On March 17, 1957, she married her high school sweetheart, Roy Lee Bobeck. She was employed for Beaver Cable TV for 20-plus years as secretary/bookkeeper.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Roy Lee Bobeck; son, Douglas Bobeck and Debbie Brennon; daughter, Stephanie Schneider and husband Thomas; seven grandchildren, Aaron Bobeck and wife Amanda, Nick Bobeck and wife Keely, Brody Bobeck, Nathan Anderson, Eric Anderson, Savannah Schneider and Brandi Massey; six great-grandchildren, Braden Bobeck, Tanner Bobeck, Laramie Bobeck, Tucker Bobeck, Serenati Massey and Dace Massey; and four brothers, Norman Kimber and wife Jean, Leo Kimber and wife Kathy, Russell Kimber and wife Donna, and Donald Kimber and wife Jean. She was preceded in death by her parents, and twin brother Ray Emerson Kimber.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Christian Church in Beaver, Okla. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, at Beaver County Funeral Home.
