ST. JOHN — Stanton James Bergen, 47, died March 18, 2015, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
Born July 30, 1967, in Great Bend, he was the son of George Jr. and Emma Faye “Dilly” (Salem) Bergen. A resident of St. John since 2001, coming from Great Bend, he was a salesman for Coca-Cola.
Mr. Bergen was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Great Bend.
Survivors include three sisters, Deborah Coppedge and her husband Brad, Claremore, Okla.; Rhonda Hughes, Great Bend; and Shelly Bottcher and her husband David, Grandview, Mo.; an uncle, David Salem, St. John; three aunts, Verna Tinsley, Lexington, S.C.; Evelyn Burke, Shawnee, Okla., and Delores Behl, Forest Hill, Calif.; six nieces and nephews, Stephanie Keenan, Dalton Hughes, Emmaly Bottcher, Evan Bottcher, Michele Shell, and Brian Coppedge; and one great-nephew: Jaxon Keenan.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 23 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Doyle Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Park Cemetery in St. John. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., on Sunday at Bryant Funeral Home.
