Susan Marie (Feldman) Quint 1969 - 2015

WINFIELD — Susan Marie (Feldman) Quint, 46, of Winfield, went to her Heavenly home on May 15, after a valiant fight with Brain Cancer. She was born March 19, 1969, in Great Bend to Richard and Jackye (Strother) Feldman. Susan graduated from Great Bend High School and attended Barton County Community College. She obtained an Office Manager degree from Wichita Area Vocational Technical College and an Associate Degree from Cowley County Community College in Early Childhood Education. She was a Certified Dietary Manager at Medicalodge in Douglass. In 1995, Susan married Roger E. Quint in Great Bend. The couple made their home in Winfield.  
Mrs. Quint was a member of Central Baptist Church in Winfield. She volunteered for The American Red Cross where she taught CPR and First Aid classes. She was active as a youth in 4H, and in her church.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Quint of Winfield; her brothers, Duane Feldman and wife, Sandy of Great Bend and Todd Feldman of Winfield; her sisters, Debbie Johnson of Topeka, and Kathy Berglind and husband, Bruce of Derby. Her maternal grandmother:  Louise Strother of Winfield; her paternal grandparents, Harold and Clara Mae Feldman of Great Bend. She delighted in her 13 nieces and nephews, Katlyn and Erin Feldman, Timothy, Quinton, and Shala Johnson, Erica, Jonathan and Carly Berglind, Mark, Vinnie, Vic, Dillon and Mackenzie Fiori. She also leaves behind her much-loved dog, Teddy Bear. She was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Feldman; grandfather, Jack Strother; aunt, Susan Marie Strother; and another much-loved dog, Mickey.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Central Baptist Church in Winfield. Inurnment will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Great Bend Memorial Cemetery in Great Bend. Memorials have been established in Susan’s name for Victory in the Valley, Gentiva Hospice and Central Baptist Church Children‘s Ministry. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
