Susan “Sue” Julian, 57, died March 29, 2016, at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson. She was born Dec. 24, 1958, at Wichita, the daughter of Duane and Margaret (Ball) Huntwork. She was a cook at LeAnn’s, since 1984, and was previously employed by Slack’s Bar and Grill.
She was a member of Eagles Aerie No. 646. She enjoyed playing cards, lottery and Keno. She was a Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan, and loved NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include her parents, of Great Bend; cat Harley, two sisters, Julie Huntwork of Hoisington, and Missy Parker of Great Bend; and a niece, DeAnna Parker of Kansas City, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, uncles Joe Ball and Lloyd Wade, and cousins, Timmy Ball and Lloyd Allen Wade.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at Bryant Funeral Home with officiants Pastor Mike Joiner and the Rev. Dick Ogle. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial fund donations to Kans for Kids, or Sunflower Shrine Travel Fund or Eagles Aerie No. 646 may be made in care of the funeral home.
