Terri Lynn McCord, 54, died Dec. 23 at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita. Born March 20, 1958 in Memphis, Tenn., she was the daughter of William and Barbara Donaldson. On Aug. 27, 1976 she married Larry McCord in Salem, Ark. A resident of Great Bend since 1983, coming from Ash Flat, Ark., she was a homemaker and Early Childhood Special Education Para and bus driver for Unified School District #428 in Great Bend.
Mrs. McCord was a member of the Church of Christ in Great Bend.
Survivors include her husband, Larry McCord, of the home; father, William Donaldson of Memphis, Tenn.; one son, Daniel Dale McCord and his wife Angela of Midland, Texas; two daughters, Stacy Lynn Strecker and her husband Brian and Sandra Elaine Doonan and her husband Wade, both of Ellinwood; one brother, Troy Donaldson of White House, Tenn.; one sister, Tini Leigh Kirby of Byhalia, Miss.; and four grandchildren, Emma McCord, Kacee Doonan, Bryce Doonan, and Mia McCord. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Pat and Barbara Guess; one brother, Gary Donaldson; and one sister, Moni Wilson.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Church of Christ, 1122 Stone, in Great Bend with Chuck Marshall officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Church of Christ. Memorials are suggested to the Church of Christ in care of the funeral home.
