Terry Barber 1941 - 2015

Terry D. Barber, 73, passed away April 4, 2015, at Kansas Heart Hospital with his family by his side.
Born July 20, 1941, in Bogue, he was the son of Verlin and Regina (Schoenberger) Barber. On Oct. 20, 1963, he married Alice Anderson in Dighton. A resident of Great Bend since 1970, he was a retired printer for the Great Bend Tribune.
He enjoyed doing puzzles with Alice, telling stories with his sons, watching his granddaughters play sports and watching TV with his faithful companion Cheyenne. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife Alice, of the home; two sons, John Barber and Willy Barber and wife Michelle and granddaughters Elizabeth Barber and Brittnee Barber, all of Great Bend; one sister, Donna Mae Ryder and husband Ronnie of Burton; brothers-in-law, Joe Anderson and wife Linda of Texas, Mickey Anderson and wife Becky of Rose Hill, Jimmie Anderson and wife Susan of Wichita, Rudy Anderson and wife Lynda of Rose Hill, and Ronnie Anderson and wife Darlene of Clearwater; and sisters-in-law, Rosey Randolph and husband Dale of Great Bend, Cindy Schade and husband Christopher of Missouri and Linda (Donnie) Anderson of Wichita; and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law, Donnie Anderson; and two sisters-in-law, Kay (Anderson) Legg and Peggy (Anderson) Naylor.
Per Terry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
