ELLINWOOD — Terry (T.O.) Brewer, 60, died May 8, in Ellinwood. Born Feb 18, 1954, in Great Bend, he was the son of Jack and Martha Brewer. Terry was a resident of Barton County for most of his life, working in the oil industry as a driller.
Mr. Brewer was a member of the Big Bend Fishing club and loved to fish. He was able to share and pass on this love with his closest friends and family.
Survivors include his mother, Martha (Lonnie) McCarty; former spouse, Becky Davis; two sons, Darin and Gunar Brewer; two daughters, Tara Brown and Talaya Schwartz; a step-daughter, Jessica Davis; three brothers, Tom Brewer, David Brewer, and Michael Brewer; two step-brothers, Michael McCarty and Kevin McCarty; a step-sister, Jan Schmutz; and 12 grandkids. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Brewer; and a son, Wesley Brewer.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, at the First Baptist Church in Ellinwood with Pastor David Wesner officiating.  Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, with family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m., at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood. Memorials may be given to The American Heart Association or First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
