Larned — Timothy Alan Parker, 22, died June 20 in Larned. Born Nov. 29, 1989, in Shawnee Mission, he was the son of Carl Eugene Parker and Michelle Lynn Naugle Lewis. A Larned resident for the past nine years, moving from Utah, he worked for the Pawnee County Bridge and Highway Department and worked for the Larned EMS. On Feb. 12, 2010, he married Bonnie Jo Harding in Great Bend. She survives.
Mr. Parker was of the Christian Faith. He was in the Army National Guard, was an Eagle Scout and coached little league baseball.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Jo Parker; his parents, Carl and Julie Parker of Larned, Michelle Lewis of Lindon, Utah and Ron Lewis of Orem, Utah; four sons Tristen, Treyton, Alex and Aldon, all of the home in Larned; a brother, Carl Raymond Parker of Larned; four sisters, Amy Rouse and Sarah Parker, both of Larned, and Shannon Lewis and Andrea Lewis, both of Lindon, Utah; grandparents, Phil and Cheryl Naugle of Colorado Springs, Colo., Bill and Lynn Lange of Garfield, Mary Eatough of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Stella Parker of Hutchinson; and great-grandmother, Virginia Naugle of Orem, Utah. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Ray Parker.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Chaplain Caleb McCary presiding. Burial will be at the Larned Cemetery with military graveside rites provided by the Army National Guard. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. today at the mortuary. The casket will remain closed. Memorials may be given to the Timothy Parker Children’s Educational Fund, in care of the funeral home.
