GREAT BEND — Timothy Orr “Tim” Klusener, 54, died Aug. 2 at his brother’s home in Great Bend.
He was born Aug. 2, 1957 in Great Bend, He was the son of August Michael “Slim” and Lois Darlene (Orr) Klusener.
A lifetime resident of Great Bend, he was an oilfield roughneck for more than 35 years. He was an avid hunting and fishing enthusiast and KU athletics fan. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter.
Mr. Klusener was a member of the Cheyenne Bottoms Sportsman Club board.
Survivors include a daughter, Hali Klusener; a brother, Curtis A. Klusener and wife Donna, Great Bend; two sisters, Mary Riemann and husband Ralph and Kathi Heine and husband Chris, both of Great Bend; a granddaughter, Baley Klusener; three nephews, Pat, Curtis Jr., and Jonathan; and three nieces, Jacque, Brooke, and Kristin. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Vikki Kasselman.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. on Friday at Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. Dick Ogle officiating. Burial will be at the Lakin-Commanche Cemetery in Ellinwood. Friends may visit from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to service time on Friday, all at the funeral home.
