Trina Detherage, 62, passed away on April 13, 2022, at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington, Kan. She was born on July 15, 1959, to Hilbert J. and Phyllis Jean (Stone) Herrman. Trina married Brad Detherage in Great Bend on March 8, 1991. He survives.
A life-time resident of Great Bend, Trina was the “hostest with the mostest” at Granny’s Kitchen and previously worked at CKMC. She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies, camping, fishing, going to the lake, antiquing, and Christmas – especially decorating.
Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Michael Fletcher of Great Bend, K.W. of Ozark, Ark., Chris (Kylee) of Rush Center; two daughters, Chassity (Kyle) Roberts and Danielle (Tanner Guesnier) Detherage, all of Great Bend; three sisters, Karen Bruno of Fla., Stacie (Bruce) Kozlowski of Larned, and Lori Hoffman of St. Louis, Mo.; three brothers, Mark (Ginger) Herrman, Tim (Chris) Herrman, all of Great Bend, and Scott Herrman of Va.; seven grandbabies that she was very proud of, Brett, A.J., Skylar, Maya, Jonas, Vincent and Wyatt; and one great-grandbaby, Marley. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will take place Friday, April 15, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the family receiving guest from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Arlyn Thielenhaus presiding. Interment will follow at Great Bend Cemetery North.
