Tyler Charles Armstrong 1993-2011       
ARLINGTON — Tyler Charles Armstrong, 17, died April 7, in Reno County.
Tyler was born August 5, 1993 at Hoisington, the son of Russell Charles and Carol Elaine (McHenry) Armstrong.
He was a junior at Fairfield Middle School and a lifetime Arlington area resident. Tyler was a member of FFA, the tennis team and served as a football team manager. He enjoyed four-wheeling, jet-skiing, camping, sports and video games. He loved his car.
Survivors include his parents, Russell and Carol Armstrong, of the home; two sisters, Kaylie Armstrong, Arlington; Jessica Armstrong, of the home; a maternal grandmother, Maxine McHenry, Turon; and paternal grandparents, Jerry and Rose Kane, Peru, Ill.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Darren Gindlesberger and Anthony William Armstrong; and a maternal grandfather, Charles McHenry, Sr.
A funeral service is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 at the Bryant Funeral Home with Officiant Pastor Jack Sweany. Interment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Bryant Funeral Home.
