HUTCHINSON — Valerie Ann "Corky" Miller, 51, died Dec. 3 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born Feb. 14, 1959, at Larned, the daughter of Glenn A. and Patricia Ann (Ratliff) Miller.
Ms. Miller, a Hutchinson resident, was a member of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her father, Glenn, of Great Bend; a son, Christopher Hagler and wife Tracy of Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Vanessa Miller and husband John of Hutchinson; a sister, Julie A. Straub and husband Larry of Salina; a brother, Scott A. Miller of Topeka; three grandchildren, John Miller, Jr., Myles Hagler and Ambrosia Miller; a stepgranddaughter, Vanessa Miller; a nephew, Brantley Straub, and a niece, Hillary Straub. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann Miller.

A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Great Bend Cemetery, with Pastor Don Paden officiant. Interment will be there. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
