LARNED — Victor E. Kreutzer, 92, passed away June 8, 2024 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kan.
He was born Feb. 26, 1932 in La Crosse, the son of Leo and Albertine (Legleiter) Kreutzer.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Larned. He was a welder and fabricator for O’Neill Tank, and McDonald Tank and Equipment in Great Bend, Kan. for many years. After retiring, he volunteered at the Welcome Inn. He was a US Army veteran.
On Sept. 5, 1956 he married Theresa Wondra in Liebenthal, Kan.
Survivors include son, Ron (Monica) Kreutzer; grandchildren Amanda and Ryan; sister, Margie (Floyd) Rohr; brother, Perry (Lou) Kreutzer. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Bruce, and wife Theresa.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned with Father Anselm Eke presiding. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024 with a vigil service and rosary at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Larned Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Welcome Inn Senior Center or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of Beckwith Mortuary, PO Box 477, Larned, Kansas 67550.
