Virginia Hope Sell 1934-2012

STAFFORD — Virginia Hope Sell, 78, died Dec. 17, 2012 in Pratt County.  Born Sept. 1, 1934 at Richfield, she was the daughter of Arcy and Myrtle Heggy Krey.  She was the owner of Ginny’s Beauty Shop and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Stafford. She volunteered for several organizations in Stafford. On May 23, 1956 she married Darwin Sell at Stafford County.  He died June 30, 2005.  
She is survived by her children, Tammy Dick and husband Patrick of Stafford, Karen Smithson and husband Ken of Halstead, Jay Sell and wife Benji of Stafford, David Sell and wife Starla of McPherson; brothers, Wesley Krey of Canyon City, Texas and Donald Krey of Sharon Springs; sisters: Patricia Crosswhite of Ness City and Phyllis Tull of Waco, Texas; and 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Harvey, Harold and an infant brother Edwin.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 22 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford with David Campbell presiding. Burial will be at the Stafford Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 5-7 p.m. at the chapel. Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church in care of the chapel.
