KEARNEY, Neb. — Walter B. Moore, 63, passed away May 29, 2021, at his home in Kearney, Neb. He was born May 28, 1958, at Chicago, Ill. to Walter B. Moore, Jr. and LaVerna (Ohnmacht) Moore. 

A resident of Kearney, Neb. for the last 11 years, Walter was an over the road truck driver. He loved being in his truck and exploring the country.  

Survivors include, five children; three brothers, John Moore and wife Jeanne of Colo., Joseph Moore of Great Bend, and James Moore and wife Phyllis of Okla.; a sister, Mary Moore of Mo.; three grandchildren; two nephews; and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Christina Moore. 

Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 7, 2021, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Olmitz, with Father Don Bedore presiding. Interment will be in St. Ann Catholic Cemetery in Olmitz. Memorials have been designated to the Holy Family School Endowment Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
