SALINA —Wanda M. Schrock, 74, Salina, died Nov. 10. She was born March 13, 1937 in Great Bend to Louie and Goldie (Sloan) Burhenn. For many years, she lived in Longmont, Colo., where she married Laddie Schrock on Jan. 13, 1989. In 2004, they moved to Salina from Apache Junction, Ariz. She was a homemaker and a member of Salina Heights Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Juanita Rose. Survivors include her husband Laddie; two daughters Diana Chavez and husband Victor, of Longmont, and Esther Taylor of Westminster, Colo.; a son Terry Sellers of Erie, Colo.; three step-sons Dennis Schrock and wife Debbie of Arvada, Colo., David Behrens and wife Janet of Denver, Colo., and Steve Behrens and wife Linda of Celina, Texas; two step-daughters Karen Henderson of San Francisco, Calif., and Donna Schrock and husband Mathis of Austin, Texas; three sisters Virginia Richmond of Topeka, Joyce Rose of Great Bend, and Betty Veesart of Springfield, Mo.; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Salina Heights Christian Church, 801 E. Cloud, Salina with Pastor Kerry Basinger officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, WaKeeney. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salina Heights Christian Church Firefighters Fund or General Fund.
