Willie V. Bowman 1938 - 2011

KINGMAN — Willie V. Bowman, 73, died Aug. 19, 2011. Born April 10, 1938, at Pauls Valley, Okla., he was the son Ervin and Mattie Mumford Bowman. A longtime resident of Great Bend, he was a retired oil field shop foreman. On Aug. 15, 1959, he married Leona Ingram. She died Nov. 1, 1997. On Oct. 24, 2003, he married Lou Allen-Redd. She survives.

Mr. Bowman was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kingman and the Knights of Columbus.

Other survivors include two sons, Michael (Shandy) and Stephen; three daughters, Theresa (Karl) Habiger, Judy (Doug) Bramwell, and Cindy Powers; three brothers, Larry, Jim, and Roy; two sisters, Maudine Lackey and Johnnie Sue Logan; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Parish rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kingman, followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Radium. Memorials may be made to the Kingman Community Hospital Oncology Department in care of the Livingston Funeral Home.
