Zulet Rodriguez Harp, 38, of Great Bend died Friday, March 16 in Barton County. She was born April 13, 1973 in Mexico, the daughter of Ricardo and Griselda (Ortega) Rodriguez.
Zulet graduated from Ulysses High School and moved to Great Bend in 1999. She attended Barton Community College. She worked at Love’s Convenience Store in Great Bend as a store manager. She attended St. Rose Catholic Church and La Cocecha Church both in Great Bend. Zulet enjoyed spending time with her children, listening to music and being around and visiting with other people. She was very dedicated to her family and friends.
Survivors include her father, Ricardo Rodriguez of Ulysses; mother, Griselda Rodriguez of Great Bend; two sons, Lowell Paul Harp and Jose Antonio Valenzula both of Great Bend; one daughter, Mindy Korene Harp of Great Bend; three brothers, Lupe Rodriguez of Ulysses, Ricardo Rodriguez of Mexico, Eriet Rodriguez of San Diego, Calif.; four sisters, Mireya Crawford of Hoisington, Isidra Rodriguez Vargas of Mexico, Bilga Esparza of Great Bend, Aide Rascon of Junction City, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her sister Bani Rodriguez.
Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 20 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jesus Leal and Pastor Mario Aviler officiating. Burial will follow at Great Bend Cemetery North. Friends may call Monday, March 19 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to Children’s Miracle Network in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
