Dear Editor,
I just wanted to personally thank Christina Hayes, Great Bend City Community Coordinator, Waters True Value and all involved on a job well done on the June Jaunt. I attended events Saturday and Sunday and was amazed at the attendance and the fun everyone was having. Christina  and Derek at Waters supported the United Way of Central Kansas by letting the United Way Board members and myself have a fundraiser for the Oklahoma tornado victims as part of the June Jaunt. $2,000 was raised for this great cause! The United Way Board, Co-chairs and volunteers from JcPenney’s really stepped up to support this cause and I could not do this job without their leadership and support.  Derek at Waters was gracious to let us use their bouncy houses to raise over $200 for our 2014 campaign. It just goes to show how together we can make a difference! Thanks to a caring community I am proud to be a part of.
