To Great Bend Military Moms:
On behalf of me and my team, I just wanted to extend my greatest thanks for the wonderful Christmas care packages that you sent us.  It was a wonderful surprise to receive your packages. 
We are at a pretty remote base, so the team loved getting a resupply of toiletries and goodies.
Just a little background, we are a seven-man team operating in eastern Afghanistan tasked with assessing and evaluating the progress and competencies of the Afghan Army. 
It’s certainly an interesting mission affording us the opportunity to travel all over the region.
