Dear Editor,
The April 17 Great Bend Tribune carried a front page article where some of the County Commissioners endorsed Sheriff Brian Bellendir’s handling of a controversy going back to Aug. 10, 2017. I was not mentioned in Dale Hogg’s piece. The reason, I was absent due to illness.
Had I been there I would have been leading cheers for the sheriff. He’s the best sheriff we have had in years. His staff and undersheriff are second-to-none. They are always groomed and erect and look the part. Voters of Barton County can be proud of them and supportive of our sheriff. Things are good when the sheriff handles them.
