Cicero and Huelskamp agree on budget

Dear Editor,
I encourage voters to vote for Tim Huelskamp in the Nov. 2 election.
Tim is a conservative Republican who is against high taxes and increased spending.
Tim’s ideals match the beliefs of the Roman Emperor Cicero more than 2,060 years ago.
To paraphrase Cicero, “The budget should be balanced, the treasury should be refilled, public debt should be avoided, and the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled lest Rome become bankrupt.”
Tim believes that if the United States does not reduce the $13 trillion debt, the United States will go the way of the Roman Empire.
I urge you to send Tim Huelskamp to Washington to represent the Big First.
Fred Newby,
Pratt
