Dear Editor,
We want to thank all of our friends, families, and work partners for supporting us by voting for our teams in the Dancing with the Barton Stars competition.
We agreed to be one of the dancers because we believed in the purpose of the fundraiser but you responded with such enthusiasm and encouragement that it made us work even harder to give you a night of fun entertainment. We gave our time and effort to create awareness for the need to update and renovate the Barton Fine Arts Auditorium but so many of you came out to the event and made all of our efforts worthwhile.
We want to thank the Foundation office and everyone at the college for producing such an outstanding performance which seemed as well orchestrated as the real television show. Scott and Jemelle lead us through the evening and kept the crowd involved with each performance. It was so nice to see all of the Barton students assisting with the activities and performing as well. It was a great experience for each of us and one we will remember and enjoy for a long time.
Please continue to support the fine arts programs and scholarship fund so the goal can become a reality and serve the students and community for future years. Dance like no one is watching.
