Dear Editor,
We would like to express our gratitude to the staff of the Great Bend Parks and Recreation Department and Activities Center. On Oct. 29 our soccer team was traveling from Lawrence to Garden City for a regional play off game. While looking for a place to stop for lunch, we contacted the parks and rec department. The parks and rec staff, specifically Vandy, helped us to pre-arrange a stop at your Activities Center. What a wonderful facility for the players to take a break during the long bus trip! Thank you so much for allowing us to use the facility. We appreciate the hospitality!
