Our thanks to Martin Miller, Christina Hayes and all of the many city employees for staging this wonderful three-day event.
It was well-organized, the weather cooperated and all activities seemed to happen flawlessly.
The Ladies for Liberty and the Jay Bennett Band provided wonderful entertainment. We thank Kevin Lockwood and the Ground Battle Re-enactors for their displays and participation in the Saturday evening ceremony.
Great Bend is indeed blessed to have people willing to work so hard to provide such an entertaining and educational project.
