Dear Editor,
Our local Habitat for Humanity affiliate is hosting a “mixer” event tonight, Oct. 25, at the current house under construction located just north of 19th and Hubbard, here in Great Bend. 
The mixer will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. 
This event is a way to say thank you to the many volunteers who have donated time, materials and funds to our local projects.  We would also invite anyone that has an interest in volunteering. 
There are many opportunities to help out with anything from helping build the house to serving on a committee or even being a member of the board. 
So whether you’ve helped in the past or have had the thought of helping in the future, this event is a great way to learn more. Please plan to stop by this evening to learn more about Habitat for Humanity and how you can help.
