Dear Editor,
Just a thought: Now that the supreme court has approved the right to free speech at military funerals, it seems only just that cities should be able to recoup the additional expenses they incurred providing security and safety for those who promoted and conducted the protest.
This ruling is sure to embolden those who promote and indulge in this type of behavior.
Times are tough and this only serves to place an added financial burden on towns and cities which are already hard pressed to meet civil payrolls.
