Dear Editor,
I would like to thank the citizens of Great Bend for the nice turn out for our Disabled American Veterans Memorial Day program.
I would especially like to give thanks to everyone who helped. Your contributions were excellent.
I also want to give a thumbs up to the Great Bend cemetery staff and city officials for having bleachers set up for our seniors. They were a great addition and well received by the public.
Last I would like to thank the American Legion Post 180 and Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3111 and Auxiliary, Boy Scout Troop 157 and Girl Scout Troop 20293 It is always good to work with these fine organizations.
And the Great Bend Tribune coverage was outstanding and excellent.
