Support for Lori Reneau

Dear Editor,
With the upcoming USD 428 school board member elections for USD 428 coming up, we would like to take a moment and show our support for our friend of 30 years, Lori Reneau. Lori Reneau works for the Kansas Bureau of Investigation as a Certified Evidence Control Specialist, which lead her and her husband Kenny to relocate from Stafford County to Great Bend where they both work. Lori and Kenny’s boys, Keaton a sophomore and Ethan a sixth grader, attend school in Great Bend, so she has a vested interest in the USD 428 school system. Lori has been a very active member in her sons’ PTO/Booster Clubs since 2004, serving the past 7 years as Booster Club President at Park School. Lori has dedicated many hours of her time to organize many different fundraisers and activities for her children’s schools. We believe her desire for a high quality education for her children will propel her to be an invaluable member for the USD 428 School Board.
Lori is willing to put the time and effort in that it requires making sure that she is well informed in matters that are impacting the education of USD 428 students. She will approach the duties of a school board member with no hidden agendas, just a desire to serve her community and have a positive impact on the educational system her children are enrolled in. Her listening skills and leadership skills have been proven through her involvement with the KBI Peer Support Team that helps support Law Enforcement Agencies across Kansas as they deal with the aftermath of traumatic events. These leadership skills will allow her to listen and support students, teachers, and staff as we navigate the ever changing educational field.
Please join us on April 7, to vote for Lori Reneau, a dedicated advocate for USD 428 students.
