Dear Editor,
I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation for the unselfish dedication to duty our firemen have for our community. Every time the bell rings these brave men and women across our nation climb into their trucks and ambulances to answer the call. Sometimes it’s a grass fire, structure fire, traffic accident, someone having a heart attack or having a baby. The point is these firemen put their lives on the line every time the bell rings. We as a community should take the time to thank these brave men and women for their service. The next time you see a fireman or a member of their family take the time to thank them for their service, because the next time the bell rings it may be you needing their help.
