Dear Editor,
I would like to publicly commend Patrick Busch, Director of Central Kansas Upward Bound and Baudilio Hernandez, Assistant Director for their commitment to the betterment of the surrounding communities. Not only do they spend countless hours working with area youth to guide them in their quest for higher education, but due to their ingenuity and generosity they have provided many area residents with much needed articles by donating such items as clothing, bedding, towels, small appliances and furniture. Their “spirit of giving” serves as an excellent role model for their students as well as  benefiting those in need in our community. Thank you, Patrick and Baudilio for your “very much appreciated” donations and ongoing commitment to our community.
