Dear Editor,
On behalf of the Golden Belt Humane Society Adopt-A-Pet program, I would again like to thank all of those that came to support our event on Saturday at Orcheln’s. We truly appreciate each and everyone of you! Also thanks to the businesses that call orders in each and every month. We would like to get more on board each month. Thanks to the Great Bend High School Bowling Team and coach for volunteering to handle dogs for us. That was a huge help. Thanks to all who come out and volunteer each month. Thanks to Orcheln’s and their staff for allowing us to come out each month. Last, but not least, thanks to the families for adopting a new family member, as this is why we do what we do. Our next Adopt-a-Pet will be held the second Saturday in April, due to Easter weekend. Depending on the weather, we will probably be dusting off the Traeger next month and doing some grilling. Watch for announcements. Thanks again!
