Dear Editor,
I would like to give a huge thank you to so many people in Barton County for giving me the opportunity to represent you in the Miss Kansas program this last year. Being Miss Barton County I learned so much and met so many wonderful people. But most importantly, I learned how supportive and generous this community is and has been to me.
The sponsorship and encouraging words that I received at all the activities that I was so honored to attend and be a part of was overwhelming. I was amazed at how many people would go out of their way to help support my efforts to help out the Children’s Miracle Network program and its partnership with the Miss America pageant. I am so honored to have been able to represent Barton County and the wonderful people that live here. I am so proud to live here and to say I am part of this community, and what it stands for.
