Dear Editor,
I am delighted to have the opportunity to vote for Don Williams for a position on the USD 428 School Board. Being well acquainted with Don through his work at the Children’s Clinic and as the father of my partner Dr. Ryan Williams, I can assure you the he is an intelligent man with strong Christian values. He has devoted his life’s work to education, first as a teacher of biology (and wrestling coach) in high schools in Hanston and Lyons over an 18 year span. Subsequently he taught at Sterling College for 15 years eventually becoming head of the biology department. It is evident that Don understands the great challenges and opportunities faced by educators today. I’m voting for Don Williams for School Board and I hope you will too.
