To the editor: 

Your May 25th Tribune opinion article concerning new congressional districts in New York State is ... puzzling. What possible relevance does congressional redistricting in New York state politics and the dividing a Congressional district in Long Island have to do with Kansas?   

If the purpose was to pull some liberal viewpoints into the GB newspaper, there are better alternatives. The Kansas Reflector news gathering service is available to the Tribune and is an excellent source of what’s going on in Kansas – and it has an opinion section that would fit nicely into the Tribune. I  don’t always agree with the Reflector’s viewpoints, but the writing is top-notch and is mostly about Kansas.
